Alex hails from "The City of Brotherly Love." He was born in 1999. Growing up, his father wasn't around much of the time, and because of this, Chef started his secret love affair with cooking. Alex's mother, the matriarch of the family, did all she could to provide for her two children, and he wished for nothing but to do right by his mom.
If not for the nudge from his mother, Alex may very well still be frying chicken at KFC (literally)-- "You have to go far in life for the things you want"-- Alex remembers his mom telling him this when he was deciding the best way to join the industry.
With enough hard work, dedication, and perseverance, anyone can accomplish anything they set their mind to, and it is this principle alone that gives Chef the drive to push forward with his innovative and new business ideas that may revolutionize the way food and digital media are consumed.
Chef plans on using the book revenue to give back to her in a way he never thought possible; another one of Chef's projects will also give back to the community he grew up in.
